"This is the first module of this Masters degree, written specifically for on-line students. All participants engage with the content and then link with their respective peers and tutor. Mark designed the content around 10 chapter titles supplied by the University. He wrote the academic content together with the engaging on-line exercises for the students to undertake to cement their learning".
Introduction to Professional Policing: Examining the Evidence Base
This book was published on the 7th April 2020 and is the combined work of a number of authors. Mark took responsibility for authoring the chapter on Communication Skills, Problem Solving and Managing Conflict.
"The book was something all of the contributors wanted to do; to primarily assist the future generations of Police officers, learn from the experience of those in service or recently retired. An exercise which did not pay a financial fee, but one that allows Mark to know he has produced a legacy for those who follow him post his retirement. Reward enough"
